What could be healthier than going outside in the fresh air, planting a garden full of vegetables to eat and then have fun with?
If you don't have a garden, just taking your whole family on an outing to a local farm to pick up your carvables can be a wonderful way to bring out the love you have for each other.
Believe it or not, you can make money with your carvings.
There are dozens of pumpkin carving contests around the country at Halloween and Thanksgiving. (Some have some pretty nice prize money too!)
There are quite a few other pumpkin carving websites out there with pumpkin carving instructions on them so we won't bore you with a repeat of the same ideas.
